The Rohingya Cultural Memory Centre (RCMC) presents Arar Rosom, Arar Elom (Our Culture, Our Wisdom), a virtual exhibition of 106 objects and artworks representing Rohingya life and culture, past and present.

 

A project of IOM, the UN migration agency, the Rohingya Cultural Memory Centre is working to preserve Rohingya cultural heritage and promote their mental wellbeing. Through art and storytelling activities, Rohingya men, women and children connect with their homeland, find peace and healing, and ensure that their knowledge and traditions stay alive. 

 

In this exhibition, visitors can click through a 3D virtual gallery, moving through different rooms to view collections such as Rohingya architecture and boat models, needlework, pottery, basketry, musical instruments, music, poetry and more.
